Pine Lakes is located at the foothills of the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. We are approximately 5 minutes from McGhee Tyson airport, 10 minutes from the University of Tennessee & downtown Knoxville. Approximately 45 minutes from the Gatlinburg area. Pine Lakes was built as a 18 hole public golf course in 1971. The course is very golfer frendly yet can be very challenging when played from the tips. We have magnificent manicured Crenshaw Bent grass greens & bermuda fairways. Accolades: Voted "Best of the Best" for the best value course by the East Tennessee Golf News publication in 2004. Voted "East Tennessee's Best" Public Golf Course by the Knoxville News Sentinel readers poll in 2003.
