Knoxville Local Golf Events

United Parcel Service will be holding its 10th Annual United Way Golf Tournament on Saturday, May 30th, 2009 at Knoxville Municipal Golf Course in Knoxville. In the past, the event has been a very successful fundraiser raising over $10,000 for United Way last year. “UPS is very supportive of United Way’s work in communities all across the country,” said Dennis Elford, event organizer. “The golf tournament is just one way that we can raise money for the Knoxville community while having a little bit of fun and friendly competition at the same time. If you can’t attend the tournament, consider sponsoring a friend, employee or relative.” Hole sponsorships are available for $150 which includes the organization’s name printed on a sign that will be placed at the corresponding hole.
